My absolute go-to for anything sinus/ear related has always been Melrose essential oil by young living.
How do I use it?
First, I would apply it directly behind the ears. Actually, when you are treating an ear infection you always treat BOTH sides of the ear to avoid it from transferring. Then rub the oil from behind the ears and drag it straight downwards toward the collarbone.
Secondly, our goal is to get the oil in the ear without actually touching the ear. To do this I suggest getting a cotton ball and pulling off a small piece. Fan it out to the size of a quarter and place a single drop of Melrose directly in the middle. Fold the sides onto itself and make a small ball containing the oil droplet. Place this gently inside the ear and repeat with another piece of cotton for the other side. Ideally, this would be done before bed or at a naptime to allow it time to work.
*Aside from pulling out infection, this also works great for eliminating water or fluid from the ears as well!

Just stopping by to say Melrose works great for cold/sinus issues. I use it at the first sign of stuffiness, and am so amazed how great it works with stopping the problem from becoming worse!! That together with zinc are my go-to remedies. Thanks Dr. Dean for the suggestion!
