Let’s talk about water. Did you know that bleach or chlorine is added to your tap water so that it doesn’t pick up and hold bacteria in the process of getting to your kitchen faucet? However, this does NOT automatically make it beneficial or good for you. It makes it dead, lifeless. I want to encourage you to liven your water up! By putting something into your water, it gives the body something to grab or hold on to and better allows your body to absorb and utilize the water you are drinking.
So what can we add?
- Pinch of real salt (this also mineralizes your water!)
- Drops of CT-minerals by CellCore (Register as a customer using my patient direct code 2LUmcKR8 when checking out with CT-Minerals)
- Fruit (strawberries & mint, lemons, limes)
- Veggies (cucumber)
- Essential Oils (make sure you are using a pure source if consuming!)
- Re-hydrate by Energetix (homeopathic based to help absorbency & utilization)
- Add herbals and make a medicinal tea by steeping it for at least 4 hours
How much water should one drink?
The rule of thumb is 1/2 an ounce for every pound of weight you carry. So, if you weigh 200lbs, you will aim for a daily consumption of 100 ounces of water.
However, if you consume coffee, energy drinks or pop you would need to reconfigure this amount. Add any of these beverages up, double that amount, and add it to your daily water total. It takes 2-4 times the amount of water to flush out your system and rehydrate from these types of dehydrating beverages.
